Bloodthirsty vampires, wart-ridden witches and ghostly ghouls will all be let loose in Surbiton this weekend, ahead of Hallow’s Eve.
The annual Seething Halloween Walk will spook all those who cross the paths of green-eyed monsters taking the journey on Sunday.
Organised by the State of Seething group, last year’s walk included a menacing talking tree, blinding smoke and bloodcurdling screams as terrifying spirits came to life – but this year there will be even more tricks and treats.
Famished creatures will be able to feast on jacket potatoes and red blood sauce when the hour-long scary stroll culminates at St Andrews Square where they will be greeted with more chills.
Organiser Robin Hutchinson, of Ellerton Road, Surbiton, will arrive dressed as a creepy Lord of the Rings extra.
He said: “It should be fun – we don’t want to say too much about what’s happening, it will be a surprise, but there have been people working away on the blood sauce I am told.”

The walk will be a far cry from Ski Sunday’s sliding bathtubs, guinea pigs, penny farthings and stinky fromage.
Anyone young and old - or deceased - who would like to come along should dress appropriately for the walk of the dead and meet at the Lamb pub in Brighton Road, Surbiton at 5pm.
Chessington World of Adventures is also hosting a hocus pocus themed few weeks with the opportunity for visitors to take rides in the dark, see animals by night and be prodded by dangerous draculas roaming through Transylvania.

Kingston town centre will also be embracing Halloween as visitors to the town centre are taken on a tour of the some of the town's best-kept secrets of murderous stepmothers, gruesome punishments and ghastly hauntings on October 31 from Market House at 6pm.
There will also a night market from 5.30pm full of Halloween themed goodies in the Market Place.
Children can also pop into Old Malden Library in Church Road, Worcester Park for some spider web and spooky puppet making on the day in question.
