Southborough boys were in for a treat when popular science-fiction writer Stewart Ross popped in for a chat.
Some of the Surbiton school’s top library borrowers were chosen to sit in on the visit where the author spoke about his latest book Soterion Mission, which is about a future world without adults where children only live until they are 19-years-old.
Southborough schoolboy Louis Fiorellino, 13, said: “I’m a great fan of his work and couldn’t wait to see him. It’s been a brilliant afternoon.”
Students were able to get their books signed and were ever given a reading on Friday, September 27.
Mr Ross has written more than 200 published works.
