A Kingston music night has spoofed a controversial music video featuring nude dancing women.
The orginal Blurred Lines music video by Robin Thicke caused controversy for its sexism and 'ogling' lyrics as naked woman dance around while fully clothed rappers whisper 'I know you want it'.
Although Kingston store Banquet Records version of Blurred Lines, was filmed at strip club The Peel in Norbiton, it does not feature nudity and is a much more tasteful affair.
Instead it has a dancing dog, bicycles and witty lyrics promoting the New Slang Thursday night gigs.
Five staff members and a couple of friends step in for Robin Thicke, Pharell Williams and their entourage.
Owner Jon Tolley does a turn singing: "I know you wanna, I know you wanna, come to New Slang.
"And after the bands, you can stay and dance, to Indie hits you'll hear at New Slang."
He said: "It’s just meant to be fun. If it can put a smile on people’s faces, then that’s good."
