Emma’s Nails in Surbiton has reopened almost two months after a car smashed through the shopfront.

In February a silver Porsche Boxster careened over the pavement and crashed through the Victoria Road salon’s front window after turning right from Brighton Road.

The window frame was ripped from the walls, and debris was strewn across the floor and pavement in the early morning of Wednesday, February 27.

The salon had remained boarded up since.

Manager Quoc Vu said: “I’m just glad that we’re up and running again.”
