This week has been about making sure I get the right size. This isn’t meant to be a euphemism, it’s just a simple fact; I was on a mission to get the perfect fit.
One of my new year’s resolutions was to start taking better care of myself by having a bit more “me” time, and that included buying some new bras (it says something when buying a new bra becomes a treat).
I was a little nervous as I hadn’t been measured since I was last expecting and none of my bras at home were fitting.
Now this could mean one of two things; my husband has shrunk my bras in the wash or I’m no longer the svelte trim person I used to be.
After much faffing, toing and froing in the changing room and an hour-and-a-half later, I managed to find a couple of boulder holders that fit my ample size.
It was stressful. 32FF it’s nice to meet you.
Another job was to get my son a pair of pre-walkers. He’s ambling around the house with ease, so needs to get used to having something on his feet before he ventures outside.
Mummy and Daddy went to every shop we could find but to no avail. Elijah has long, wide feet with high arches. Great.
Finding a pair that fit was not going to be easy, but we eventually found one pair, but Daddy was having none of it – they were ugly and clumpy and no one wants their son to be uncool.
All is not lost, with the help of social media I managed to find an online shop that sells soft shoes in my boy’s size, and also a bra shop that has a huge selection in my size. Phew.
