Preparations are well underway for elite tennis players to descend on Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club in the build up to Wimbledon.
The club hosts the Aegon Surbiton Trophy, a major part of the pre-Wimbledon schedule, from June 4 to 12.
Last year the club hosted a WTA ladies event and the ATP men’s challenger tournament and this year is home to both a $50,000 men’s and a $50,000 women’s tournament.
Alongside the tournament, the club is hoping to get more people involved in tennis free sessions for players of all ages and abilities as well as a play tennis zone for children on June 4 and 5.
Tickets for the tournament are on sale now and entry is free for the first four days. Go to Surbiton.org
