A new bar is promising to bring the true spirit of Cuba to the heart of Crystal Palace.
The Havana House, opened by Justin Wallace and Lesley Payne last month, offers everything Cuban from dancing to cocktails.
The pair say: "The Havana House offers you escapism. The feeling of being away. The warm and inviting decor, hand made cocktails and a tasty selection of freshly made tapas. Havana hosts salsa dance classes upstairs in its function room Thursdays to Sundays. Saturday nights are the liveliest nights, where The Havana House's resident Live Cuban band play from 8pm - 12:30am.They have everyone on their feet singing and dancing."
The bar is proud of its cocktail list.
Payne and Wallace say: "The classic Mojito is a favourite at The Havana House, it is hand-made with fresh ingredients, but you can always ask the bartender to add your particular favourite fruit.
"He has been known to add passion fruit in a Mojito! On a cold winter night, there is the 'Cuban Punch’ - A nice warm cocktail! The El Presidente or the Cuban Berry are sensational to look at and to drink."
The Havana House, 23 Westow Hill, Crystal Palace, Thursday to Sunday, 11am to 12pm/1am, go to thehavanahouse.co.uk for more information.
