Kids, residents, stallholders and even a live band turned out for the Royal Star and Garter's summer fete.

Surbiton home manager Barbara Carter said: "We would like to say a big thank you to everybody that came along to support us on the day.
"It was lovely to see so many people enjoying themselves and the weather was fantastic which really added to the day.

She added: "We have been made to feel very welcome into the community so it was lovely for us to be able to share this special event with so many of our neighbours.
"The whole day was a resounding success and we are looking forward to next year."
The home, which opened last year after moving from Richmond, cares for war heroes and their families.
