As an alternative to using the former Crown pub as offices, how about turning it into a revenue-generating indoor play centre and cafe/restaurant for families with young children?
There is nothing of that nature in central Morden at the moment.
Not only would such a facility benefit local families, it would also create income for the council and boost the image of the surrounding area.
