As I was standing at Kingston station, reading your article (You think South West Trains are bad? Check out Southern, May 22) on how South West’s performance figures are better than Southern’s, I watched my Waterloo-bound train get cancelled.

That was the second time in a week, and approximately the 50th time since the new year.

This is “to reduce congestion” towards Waterloo.

South West may have improved their punctuality figures, but only at the cost of cancelling ours.
