The first thing to do when in quarantine is to plan your days, putting structure in ensures you won't have time for boredom. Also, keeping yourself busy, even within your house, allows you to have daily achievements and to focus on the positives of quarantine. I wanted to share with you my top 5 tricks to making quarantine enjoyable!

1. Daily yoga

I have a 5 O'clock yoga session every day which I love, using Yoga with Adrienne on YouTube, particularly her 30 day Dedicate series. It's relaxing and uplifting, the best part of my daily routine.

2. Gardening

While everyone is rushing for loo roll and tinned tomatoes, my family is stocking up on snowdrops and vegetable seeds from the Sarah Raven website. I've been out in the garden every day, even meandering around weeding is so rewarding and allows you to enjoy this lovely weather from your own home.

3. Walking

I try to go for a daily walk with  my music, heading into green spaces away from people which provides peace and quiet. Walking is great for your mental health, I know we're only allowed out once a day, but I would definitely recommend going for a walk a few times a week.

4. Running

Obviously, at a time when we're confined to our houses, it's incredibly important to continue a regular exercise routine, so I try to run twice a week to rejuvenate me and keep healthy.

5. Baking/cooking

Having a lot of time on my hands, I have started cooking, cooking dinner twice a week and experimenting with baking in my spare time. It's fun and rewarding and gives you an excuse to eat delicious home baked goods!
