During this difficult phase, many will take time to reflect on all the views and gatherings they have taken for granted. Being a Sutton resident means that the parks I once sprinted through have become a focal point to my memories. The children running around whilst their parents watch attentively, gatherings of friends to play football or families having a picnic whilst the sun is out.

Mother Nature has been suffering in silence and some people blindly ignore this issue. In times like these, where humans are having less of an impact on Earth, we can see how beautiful our environment can be. Just like our economical system, we try to be superior to nature, by trying to control events to benefit us. Is this our purpose in life, to always be superior?

As shown in the images, Manor Park has planted trees, which enhances the beauty of it. As I walked past those trees, for the first time, I decided to take photos of them because during this time of crisis they will flourish and grow to be strong without all the pollution. Many organisations have been trying to build trees around the world which in turn, helps us with oxygen. Using the search engine called Seneca is a small way to help organisations that plant trees around the globe.

I encourage everyone to take time to reflect on your contribution to the planet, no matter how small. Maybe you have taken public transportation or you have decided to make your garden environment-friendly. Making these a habit will allow the beautiful waters of Italy to remain crystal clear with sea animals not afraid to approach human civilization, where the blue sky of Tokyo will be the morning view of all its residents.
