As we live during this pandemic, we should ensure that we take care of ourselves and our loved ones by maintaining a safe distance and hygiene from each other. At the same time, this is perfect time to explore new things that the internet has to offer:

1. Online Learning

The increase in online classes has encouraged pupils into independent study and has encouraged personal growth. Setting tasks on Google Classroom, Seneca, Quizlet has encouraged students to learn at their own pace and take up their learning.

As well as online classes, online learning courses encourages everybody to learn something new and achieve a qualification. Websites like FutureLearn encourages everyone to take up learning and motivating to develop a new skills regardless if it’s learning more about the pandemic or learning a new language.

2. Binge watch your favorite TV shows

For those movie and drama lovers , this is the chance where you can binge watch your favorite dramas, movies and anime. This maybe also the best time to develop your drama theatrics by memorising the character’s dialogue.

3. Spotify lovers

For those Spotify lovers, this is the best time to listen and groove to those greatest hits of music and exploring new genres of music.

And for those who just want to relax and de-stress your worries ,why not try podcasts ? I recommend listening to Jay Shetty’s ‘On Purpose’ podcasts and ‘How Did I Get Here ?’ by Jae from Day6.

4. DIY tricks

For those who want to create new crafts, why not create your own DIY crafts with the supplies at home. It’s an easy and fun way to spend some time trying to fix and create new things.

5. Technology Break

For those who are exhausted from being on their phones and just want a break from social media and learning, this is the best time to mediate and reflect on life.

Creating a personal journal and documenting your daily life would probably sound boring but it’s a great way to reflect your thoughts during this time. Writing a short-story or a song is a great way in de-stressing yourself as you get to express your feeling on paper than tech.

As we in this pandemic, I hope everyone stays safe and can cope during this situation. At the same time, this is an opportunity for personal development and new skills.

Stay safe and Save lives.
