Yes, I know it sounds impossible but it’s not. Many students, including myself, find extremely difficult to balance revision as well as their social life, you just must be on top of everything that’s probably what you hear from everybody but how can you?

Create a timetable

Make sure you have a schedule that allows you to balance your revision as well as your social life!

Make sure that this timetable is realistic – you can use smart targets.

(S – specific      M – measurable        A – achievable       R- realistic         T -    timely)

There are two ways you can prepare you -

Timetable

you can plan what subject you are going to do each day with time slots.

You can just use time slots and tally up how many hours of each subject you're doing.

Plan your end goals

Start off with small goals that you would like to accomplish in a day then a week and so on.

Planning your end goal will motivate you it will increase your self - confidence!

Self – discipline

Once you have finished your revision for the day treat yourself as a reward – for example; sweets (however you need to make sure that you don’t eat the sweets before you finish your revision).

Have breaks

Make sure that you have breaks after each session (5 minutes is enough) as working for long hours doesn’t help – it's been scientifically proven that our human brain can only work up to 45 mins to an hour.

However, when studying 45mins to an hour, you need to make sure that you don’t procrastinate (to delay something that needs to be done).
