There will be a new pop-up theatre in White City soon to be opening this summer approximately around June. White City is located in the northern part of Shepherd’s Bush, its home to Queen’s Park Ranger’s football club, Television centre.Interestingly, a pop-up theatre is a production that doesn’t have a permanent ground. This means that it’s a theatrical production that pops up at any location. Although, the theatre itself will be practically parallel towards the Westfield shopping centre and soho house. The theatre is capable of holding 1,200 seats and will be performing programmes of musicals, plays, dance shows etc. It will also accompany the 1,200 seats with another 800 seater space that can be used for performances too if necessary. The whole idea was planned and pursued by West end producers Oliver Royds and Tristan Baker. It seems that this theatre will be a great hit this summer 2019 and will bring out the culture of White City’s community to the light.

Programmes like this don’t usually occur around White City therefore, it is predicted that there may be a lot of people looking forward to the events to come this summer. The expectations are being set quite high and the community can’t wait for what is to come. In addition, there will be people from all over London expected to attend too, as it is located near the Westfield shopping centre. It’s possible that it may attract people who are visiting the mall, to come and pay a visit at the future pop-up theatre.
