Although many people use Microsoft on a daily basis, there would be a very few amount that would be able to remember the name Paul Allen, Microsoft’s co-founder. Unfortunately, this great man passed away on the 15th October this year dude to specific complications from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which is a group of blood cancers that include all types of lymphoma except Hodgkin’s lymphomas. It was revealed in early October that he had restarted the treatment for the cancer which had also been a tough battle for him in 2009. Many people knew him as a technologist and philanthropist but for his family, he was a much-loved brother and uncle, as well as an exceptional friend. His family were profoundly grateful for the large care and concern he demonstrated every day to his friends and his blood-relatives. He has been credited for many things, such as Inspirations, the blues, Me and & Isaac Newton and Black Sky: The Race for Space. Paul Allen will be deeply missed by the entire community, whether local or from other places. His actions have left a large dent in this society, one of which will be hard to remove from the schedule of everyday life. Sadly, this is one of many deaths the world has had to face this year, for example, Marvel’s legendary creator Stan Lee and the loveable sea sponge’s creator, Steven Hillenburg.
