Kingston Riverside provides Romance:

The Celebrated Thames River, Is one of the UK’s biggest national treasures, however it is when night falls on Kingston’s Riverside when the 215 miles long body of water is truly at its most engaging, a short visit to the Riverside during the darkness is all that is needed to understand why the Thames River is so admired.

The charming blue lights that hit Kingston Bridge, along with the plethora of boats and sea of restaurants, provide the River with one of the most romantic  atmosphere’s an individual is ever likely to experience. In an interview with a long-time employee of Bill’s Kingston Restaurant (directly opposite the river), she proudly stated “we have hosted multiple wedding anniversary parties and have also seen a heart-warming wedding proposal”.

During my visit to the Riverside I was able to spot 2 teenage couples, and one of them informed me that they visit the Riverside “almost every Friday night”, due to the “peaceful” nature of the surrounding.

Though the Riverside provides a platform for couples to show their affection, it also provides grieving families with opportunities  to immortalize family members by having their names engraved into the Riverside bench. This touching display, has made the Riverside a very endearing setting that will always have a special place in the hearts of the mourning family members.

Kingston Riverside has a very captivating atmosphere and I would advise anyone to visit the site as it is simply enchanting weather it is day or night, weather accompanied by friends, family, your significant other or weather alone, as it is worth a look.
