Millwall’s season came to a dramatic conclusion as their 4-3 defeat ended hopes of a play-off finish.

Five goals in twenty-five minutes lit up an electric second half, but the Lions were too open at the back as QPR punished the Lions.

Here’s how the players rated:

Bartosz Bialkowski – 8

Player of the season. He showed why today, with plenty of top-quality saves. Could have done better for QPR’s second, but he kept the Lions in it at times.

Mahlon Romeo – 5

Very quiet first half going forward and struggled to contain Manning and Chair on QPR’s left side.

Shaun Hutchinson – 6

Gets an extra point for his goal, but he really struggled against Eze once he moved to right back.

Alex Pearce – 6

Vital blocked at 2-2 when it looked like it mattered but needs to be better on the ball.

Jake Cooper – 6

Probably the best of defenders today but left exposed for most of the second half.

Shane Ferguson – 6

A few good deliveries, couldn’t take his chances when he needed it.

Ryan Woods – 6

Tried to run the game during the first half but had little support around him.

Ryan Leonard – 5

Little impact before being taken off. Struggled to keep hold of the ball.

Jed Wallace – 7

Two assists takes him to twelve for the season. Best attacker for the Lions today, unfortunately finding his form too late.

Tom Bradshaw – 5

Not certain over Bradshaw’s future with the Lions. Needed a performance today and he had chances, but just couldn’t take any of them.

Mason Bennett – N/A

Continues to impress for Millwall and showed good composure to give Millwall the win. Fitness is still an issue, but if he’s here next season, he could be a big player.

Subs:

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson – 5

Just not at it today, had a chance with Bennett coming off early, but he couldn’t take it. Sloppy passes even if he works hard.

Matt Smith – 7

Fair play to the big man, he certainly made an impact. Scored with his first touch and gave Millwall some hope.

Jayson Molumby – N/A

Connor Mahoney – N/A

Billy Mitchell – N/A
