Here’s how the Brentford players rated in their 1-1 draw with Leeds United.

David Raya 6

Looked suspect under the high ball and got punished. Uncharacteristically fluffed a number of clearances while under no pressure and he failed to get a grip on the deceptively strong wind inside Griffin Park.

Rico Henry 7

Defensively given a torrid time by Helder Costa with the winger’s pace and trickery causing bother. Going forward however he provided a good outlet on the counter.

Ethan Pinnock 6

Playing out from the back the centreback looked uncomfortable in possession and unaware of the opposition around him. That said, he cleared his line each time, although a little unconventionally.

Julian Jeanvier 7

The most composed of the backline in possession and offered a stability and bite at the back.

Henrik Daslgaard 6

Caught in possession early on by Jack Harrison and after that looked reluctant to get forward knowing the attacker had the beating of him for pace.

Christian Norgaard 8

The most disciplined of the Bees midfield and it was needed. Sat in front of the back four and broke up much of the Leeds with his reading of the game. An influential part of Thomas Frank’s side.

Mathias Jensen 7

Neat and tidy in possession but couldn’t dictate like he’s used to and would’ve had to do far too much tracking and defending than he’d like.

Josh Dasilva 5

Found it tough going against a vey mobile Leeds team and will be seeing Kalvin Phillips in his sleep tonight. Wasteful in possession and limped off on the hour.

Surrey Comet:

Bryan Mbuemo 6

A poor outing from the winger who failed to get into the game. Lost possession too easily and frequently in the final third.

Said Benrahma 7

Unsurprisingly Brentford’s best attacking threat although was guilty of overplaying in dangerous areas, both at the back and going forward.

Ollie Watkins 6

Won more than his share of headers against a towering backline. His hold-up and link-up were on point. Bu as for goal mouth chances there was little for him to get on the end of.

 Subs:

Emiliano Marcondes 6

Added energy to a flat midfield when he arrived.
