Aaron Wan-Bissaka should be weary of moving to Manchester United at such an early stage in his career.

That is the view of Crystal Palace legend John Solako who believes the 21-year-old right back should look at the experience Wilfried Zaha endured after his £15million move to Old Trafford in 2013.

United have seen a £40million bid rejected but are expected to return with a fresh bid closer to Palace’s £60million valuation of their Player Of The Season.

'Too Early'

Solako, however believes the England Under21 international should take his time before deciding on his future, citing Zaha’s ill-fated two appearances in a two year stint at Manchester as a warning.

"It’s too early for Aaron,” Solako told Love Sport Radio.

“He needs another season.

“I’m not surprised United have come in because they could probably get him cheaper and they think they need to do something now.

"He’s got the world at his feet.

"But my only concern is that we had Wilfried Zaha leave at a young age and he didn’t cope.

“He wasn’t mature enough and didn’t really settle in at Man United.

“He ended up coming back and has had the best spell of his career since he came back.

“He’s obviously another one linked with moving away but I’m just a bit concerned with Aaron."

Wan-Bissaka made 39 appearances in his first full year in the Eagles first team and such was his form he attracted interest from Europe’s elite.

"It’s been his first full season and it’s been absolutely magnificent.

“He couldn’t have been lying in bed and dreamed of a better debut season.

"He probably needs more games.”
