The Premier League is 12 matches old and the winter transfer window is fast approaching. The fight for the Premier League title is wide open and just eight points separate first place Manchester City with fifth place Arsenal. Football fans can bet on the title odds with the Genting bet promo code and stay up to date on all of the action. Premier League survival is also wide open and it looks like it will be a dogfight at the bottom of the table come the second half of the season. Just four points separate 14th place Newcastle with 20th place Fulham.

Teams are already looking at which transfers will improve their sides for a second half push. While many of the names floating around are just speculation, these five transfers might happen in the winter transfer window.

Samir Nasri – West Ham

Surrey Comet:

West Ham look likely to sign Samir Nasri on a short-term contract. The Frenchman, who has been suspended from football for the last 18-months due to doping, is a free agent. Manager Manuel Pellegrini is familiar with the playmaker from their time at Manchester City. Fans in Australia can stay up to date with Premier League betting news with Bet365. Nasri is eligible to play from January and could give West Ham a further creative spark off the bench. Despite Nasri demanding a reported £80,000-per-week, West Ham are willing to back Pellegrini.

Ousmane Dembele – Arsenal

Surrey Comet:

Barcelona have made their feelings about Ousmane Dembele’s personal life and attitude known. Despite playing well at times for the Blaugrana, Dembele has been criticised for his lack of commitment. Prior to Barcelona’s 4-3 home loss to Real Betis at the weekend, Dembele did not show up for training and was subsequently left out of the team. A loan or permanent deal could be worked out for the talented Frenchman. The only problem for Unai Emery would be Dembele’s possible lack of commitment to the team.

Frenkie De Jong – Manchester City

Surrey Comet:

Frenkie De Jong is likely to join Manchester City in one of the coming transfer windows. Depending on whether Ajax qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League, De Jong could be a Manchester City player sooner rather than later. It is believed Manchester City will pay a fortune for the 21-year-old defensive midfielder. He is worth it and will be the team’s permanent replacement for the ageing Fernandinho. Manchester City will have to fight Barcelona for De Jong’s signature, however.

Krzysztof Piatek – Chelsea

Surrey Comet:

In October, Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek was the toast of the football world. The 23-year-old Polish international had bagged 13 goals in just eight games in all competitions. During the October international break, Piatek was linked to every major club under the sun. Since then, the striker has gone goalless in his last five matches – it hasn’t helped that Genoa sacked manager Davide Ballardini during that time – but Chelsea are still after Piatek’s signature. Genoa are a selling club and it is very likely the Italians will let go of the striker just months after joining if their price demands are met.

Malcom – Tottenham

Surrey Comet:

Tottenham didn’t sign a single player during the summer transfer window. With players looking tired, Tottenham look ready to add a player or two. Barcelona winger Malcom could be one addition. Malcom is said to be on the market as Barcelona have buyer’s regret over his €41m signing. Malcom’s exit from Camp Nou could depend on Dembele. The Catalans may keep Malcom if Dembele goes as it is unlikely both will depart in January. However, if Barcelona get the €50m they want for Malcom, he could be London bound.
