Congratulations are in order for the Bracken brothers after scooping the Bostik League’s monthly awards for their respective positions.
The Mitre Manager of the Month award goes to James Bracken after he steered his side to an unbeaten month, including league victories over Guernsey, Molesey, Faversham Town, South Park and Shoreham with Casuals currently sit in third place.
James is no stranger to this award, having won it in August, March and April of last season.
His younger brother, captain and top stopper Danny Bracken has once again claimed the Bostik League South Safe Hands Award - sponsored by Sells Goalkeeping Products.
Danny, not averse to winning the award was chosen for his fine performances which led to Casuals only conceding just once in the league for the whole of September. Along with his defence, Bracken kept clean sheets five league fixtures – Guernsey, Whyteleafe, Faversham Town, South Park and Shoreham.
He was also named Isthmian South Goalkeeper of the Season for the past two years and by adding this award, looks well on the way to claiming a third consecutive accolade.
