As the building of the new school gathers pace, Rydens Enterprise School and Sixth Form College is pleased to announce a new name for the school from September 2017. The school will be called Three Rivers Academy to reflect the local community the school serves located between the rivers Thames, Wey and Mole.

The school will also adopt the badge of The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT) and the motto ‘Bringing out the Best’.

Whilst the new school will continue to develop its own identity within the community it serves, the THPT brand will offer quality assurance and support us to build on the highly effective partnership working already established.

The school became part of THPT in September 2016 and, as a result of rapid improvement plans, was described in a recent Department for Education monitoring visit as making ‘very strong progress ….. coupled with clear and determined leadership’.

Anne-Louise Payne, Head of School said ‘ This is a very exciting time in the development of the school and with a new name we can continue to move the school forward, whilst retaining and building on the key areas of strength, as we plan to move into the new school building early in 2018.

The new school will be housed completely under one roof, allowing for an increased number of students and will provide state of the art, purpose built provision for our students. ’
