Camden Town Brewery has launched an ice cream flavoured lager in time for summer.

If you’re a fan of ice cream and a cold lager during the warmer months then this combination could be just what you need to cool off.

Ice Cream Lager was originally launched last year as an Arch55, the brewery’s series of small batch innovation beers, and since it proved to be a popular flavour, the brand decided to release Ice Cream Vanilla Lager as a 440ml can.

Fred Nesbitt, Head of Marketing at Camden Town Brewery, said: “There’s nothing better than enjoying an ice cream (and a beer) on a warm summer’s day, and at Camden Town Brewery we thought why not combine two of our favourite flavours?

"We took inspiration from a summer classic, vanilla ice cream, to create our very own Ice Cream Vanilla Lager.

“We know our new beer, complete with a bigger 440ml can, is going to melt the hearts of lager lovers everywhere so be sure to keep an eye out for when it hits shelves this April.”

Camden Ice Cream Vanilla Lager is available to buy in single units at Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and the Camden Town Brewery website for £3 per unit or £12 for a 4-pack.
