Fans are unhappy that Michael McIntyre's hit game show The Wheel has been repeated on BBC One. 

The popular game show has been brightening up our wintery Saturday nights since it returned for a second series in late 2021 but with only 15 episodes, the show has started to see repeats. 

Viewers have been following along with the programme for some weeks now which features a spinning wheel of celebrity experts who help the contestants answer trivia questions from their area of expertise for a chance at winning the cash prize.

The second series has featured celebrity experts like Patricia BrightMelvin OdoomCarol VordermanHarry Redknapp and more.

Is The Wheel tonight a repeat?

Yes, tonight's show is a repeat of the second series' third episode but all 15 episodes are currently available to catch up on via BBC iPlayer. 

The third episode is broadcast on BBC One at 8.30 pm on Saturday, February 19 2022 and will be available on BBC iPlayer after the episode.

Saturday's episode features Sue Perkins, David Dickinson, Steph McGovern, Daz Games, Robert Peston, Johannes Radebe and Dion Dublin.

Fans react as The Wheel is repeated on BBC One

Viewers are fed up with seeing repeat episodes of the gameshow on BBC One with many taking to social media to complain. 

Paired with two angry red faces, one user wrote: "BBC reaching new depths repeating The Wheel"

While another commented:"Yup, saw this episode of The Wheel 6 months ago! Any reason for all the repeats @BBC?!"

And a third responded:"BBC showing repeat of The Wheel from last August on primetime Saturday telly. What a rip off. Shouldnt have to pay my licence this month because i already paid for this in August right?"

The Wheel airs on BBC One on Saturdays at 8.30 pm.
