Roma, England and ex-Chelsea footballer Tammy Abraham has been fined for speeding above 20mph in a Lamborghini sports car.

Tammy Abraham, or Kevin Bakumo-Abraham, was caught speeding at 47mph on Tibbets Ride in Putney.

The 24-year-old exceeded the 20mph speed limit on the SW15 road on April 21 this year.

Abraham, of The Glade in Kingswood, was fined £826 for the offence at a hearing at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on November 16.

He was also given six points on his driving licence under the SP30 offence code.

He was fined £660 and he must pay £66 to fund victim services and costs of £100.

Abraham’s speed was recorded with a ProLaser 4 camera.

The striker completed a 40m euro (£34m) move to Italian side Roma from Chelsea in August.

Abraham, Chelsea's joint top scorer last season, joined the Serie A club - managed by former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho - on a five-year deal.

He has played for England 10 times, scoring in the game against San Marino last week as England secured their place at next year's World Cup in Qatar.
