Following your article on 6th September 2012 I also agree that possible changes to the Borough's development policies could threaten vital out-door playing space. As a resident for nearly 40 years I have witnessed first hand the enormous loss of playing fields and facilities in the Borough. With four young children and the challenges we are facing as a Nation around obesity and health surely we start to value the resources we have. We are hugely privileged as a Borough with our open space and should celebrate / protect this heritage. We should work as a community and looked beyond the immediate to ensure we invest in what is to come. The state of our Nation demonstrates that we have not done this for many years. Surely we have learnt some lessons?
