Sirs, I have never seen the vicinity of the Hogsmill River covered in as much litter as it is today. I often walk dogs from Ruxley Lane down to the railway line at Ewell West and there are empty drinks cans and food packaging everywhere. It is an eyesore. I presume EEBC deny all responsibility for clearing it up? If that is the case wouldn't it be a wonderful idea if the schools in this area arranged a day when their pupils could walk from one end to the other and clear up the rubbish, especially as the evidence suggests a lot of the rubbish has been left there by local children in the first place. A sense of responsibility for the environment can easily be achieved with a little thought.
