On Thursday 18th May from 6-8pm at the Banstead Centre, The Horseshoe, Bolters Lane, Banstead SM7 2BQ will be the official launch of the D-caf Banstead in the presence of the Mayor of Reigate and Banstead Councillor David Powell and the Lady Mayoress Caroline Durance.

D-caf Banstead is a monthly evening cafe for people living in the area who are affected by dementia. It has been set up by a group of volunteers who have all been involved with caring for people with dementia for some time and run successfully for several months.

We provide a welcoming and friendly environment where people affected by dementia can come with their families or carers and feel relaxed and enjoy some entertainment, interesting talks and mutual support. Light refreshments are provided.
D-caf Banstead feels passionately about helping those affected by dementia to feel supported and included as much as possible in their local community. We invite anybody who has an interest in this as well as to come along to our launch and get involved.
