Scottish comedian, journalist and chef Hardeep Singh Kohli dropped into an award-winning Indian restaurant to interview its owner on Friday.
Kohli visited Le Raj restaurant in Epsom Downs and spoke with restaurateur Enam Ali who also founded the British Curry Awards.
Mr Ali said he was interviewed for a Radio 4 programme on the "issue of immigration in the political arena" ahead of the general election.
The restaurant owner said he stressed the importance of making sure there are enough skilled workers for Britain’s Indian restaurants.
Mr Ali said: "I said it is very important because lots of restaurants are seriously struggling. In the kitchen we need to have skilled people and knowledge."
