I would reiterate everything mentioned in the letter from Jane Povey and would add that the food, often a stumbling block for hospitals, was very good during my recent in stay in Elective Orthopaedic Centre where I received knee surgery.
Epsom General Hospital also deserves praise.
Waiting in a corridor then seeing a consultant in a "broom cupboard" is not ideal, but it's an old building.
When admitted briefly a while back staff and treatment were excellent.
