I am absolutely disgusted by the attitude of certain drivers on the local Epsom bus routes.

My daughter and two friends, hailed the bus at Longmead Road.

One friend paid the fare of £2.40, her other friend gave the driver £10 for 2 fares (£4.80). He refused the £10 note rudely, did not check it, did not state why and told them to get off.

They asked for the £2.40 back that had already been paid he 'smirked' and said 'No refunds. Get off'.

My daughter and her friends are quiet inoffensive individuals and this amounts to pure bullying by the driver!

This is not the first time this has happened. The same thing happened on Derby Day in Epsom whereby my other daughter paid with a £10 note for 2 fares and was refused entry without checking the said £10 note.

She complained to the service provider at the time and obviously nothing has been done about this.

This is very worrying as transporting young people via public transport must be a safe and accessible option.

Not only did they take the £2.40, he was rude and not prepared to accept legal coin of the realm.
