Four people have been arrested after a van flipped after crashing into a stationary car in Walton early this morning.
At about 1.20am on November 6, police were called to Lyon Road when a white Vauxhall Vivaro panel van hit an unoccupied red Volkswagen Polo.
The van overturned as a result of the impact, trapping two of the occupants.
Both were freed and taken to hospital after being arrested.
Two other occupants fled towards Hersham Golf Course but were arrested nearby shortly afterwards, both being tasered by police during a struggle.
The police officer was also treated in hospital.
All four of the van’s occupants remain in hospital under arrest.
Elmbridge police have thanked residents who assisted them on social media, and are asking anyone with further information to contact them on 101, quoting reference P17280015.
