What a disgusting thing for your paper to start a survey about a very important theatre in your area.

Do you know how lucky you are to have a theatre which shows work for the wider community?

The arts are so important and theatre is very important for the mind of the people, in the absence of facilities to produce and distribute art, artists have no outlet and the critic and comment on society is silenced.

Theatre is for the people and what an organisation like yours should be doing is running [a] campaign to support the theatre to reach out [to] the community not running pointed a campaign in this time of austerity.

Shame on you and the people who thought up this dreadful idea. Do you want Britain to go back to the times of Oliver Cromwell?

Aristotle saw the poet and historian as his opposing binary opposites to solve this problem. The poet's job differs from the historian's in that: the historian must relate what happened, but the poet may relate what may (or may have) happened

This is why theatre is important because it provides for people an opportunity to imagine an alternative.
