A 28-year-old man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a delivery driver was mown down by his own van.
Charles Bunyasi, 49, from Mitcham, was crushed under the rear wheels of his van in Coulsdon on Saturday morning and died later that day in hospital.
The father-of-three was delivering a parcel while working as a weekend delivery man to earn extra money to support his family, when he was killed in Coulsdon Road.
Terrell Thuesday, from Redsan Close in Croydon, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and driving while disqualified in connection with Mr Bunyasi’s death.
David Browne, 47, from Fulham and Mr Thuesday have also been charged with perverting the course of justice.
Both are due to appear via videolink at Croydon Magistrates’ Court this morning.
A 61-year-old man has been bailed to return to a south London police station later this month.
