A people’s premiere of new eco-film the Age of Stupid is coming to the Odeon in Kingston’s Rotunda.
The film stars Pete Postlethwaite in a world devastated by climate change in 2055 and it will be released at 60 UK cinemas simultaneously on Sunday, March 15.
Doors for the premiere in Kingston open at 5.15pm on March 15 and Hilary Gander, a climate change campaigner from Kingston, will give a brief talk before the screening starts.
Transition Town Kingston is offering two free tickets to the premiere for Surrey Comet readers.
To enter the draw for these tickets, email ttkingstonsteering@yahoogroups.com including your name, a phone number and the slogan “I want to live lighter on the earth”.
The closing date is noon on Wednesday, March 11. Winners will be notified on March 12.
