Two people have been left injured with one of them taken to hospital after a crash in Eltham.

The incident happened on the A2 near Westhorne Avenue just after 9.10am today (April 22).

An ambulance crew and an incident response officer from London Ambulance Service attended.

Two people were treated at the scene with one of them was taken to hospital where their condition is unknown.

The second person did not require further hospital treatment.

Westhorne Avenue was blocked from A205 South Circular to A2213 Kidbrooke Park Road which caused traffic delays.

This has since cleared and all delays have returned back to normal.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 9:11 this morning (April 22) to reports of a road traffic collision on Westhorne Ave, Eltham, SE9.

“We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew and an incident response officer.

“Our first paramedics were at the scene in approximately five minutes.

“We treated two patients at the scene. We took one patient to hospital and discharged the other patient at the scene.”
