A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: "We previously issued a CCTV appeal to identify four men in connection with an assault in Epsom on 2 July.

"Two men have been arrested in connection with this incident.

"Our investigation remains ongoing."

It follows an assault in Epsom High Street.

The victim was walking along Epsom High Street at around 1am on July 2, when he was shoved to the ground and repeatedly attacked.

In a previous statement, police said: “We are appealing for help to identify the four men in these CCTV images as we believe they may be able to assist with our investigation into an assault in Epsom on 2 July.

“The victim was walking along Epsom High Street at around 1am when he was pushed to the ground and repeatedly assaulted.
