A HORRIFIED local has slammed a man and woman who filmed themselves, claiming to be at one of London’s most popular tourist attractions.

More than 250,000 people have now watched the pair perform a sex act in what is claimed to be The Shard after it was uploaded to a porn site.

The three-minute footage, with The Shard in its title, sparked outrage from a local who slammed the video as ‘disgusting’.

The exhibitionists appear to perform the sex act in the toilets, 310 metres above the city.

A furious local urged Shard bosses to probe the footage and ban those involved from returning.

They said: “It is disgusting, I can't believe they did that in such a public place.

"I’m surprised they weren't caught.

“The Shard should investigate the video and ban the couple from coming back.”

Sex in public, known as dogging, is not illegal in itself but it can be if another person sees the act. It does not appear from the video that anyone saw them.

The building has hundreds of offices, alongside restaurants and residential apartments.

Visitors are required to buy tickets in order to gain access to The Shard. However, entry is free when visiting a restaurant within the building.

We contacted the bosses of the Shard asking if they will take any action regarding the video.

They replied: "We will not be providing a comment on this occasion."

The News Shopper also revealed in 2015 that locals in Beckenham expressed their shock after a social club site was being used for dogging.

An online ad was posted on Craigslist by one user advertising a liaison behind a clubhouse after it was shut down by Lewisham Council.

A local from Beckenham, expressed her concerns at the time that the clubhouse was attracting "unsavoury activities."
