Travellers across London are bracing themselves for mass disruption as Tube and three days of rail walkouts see travel chaos. 

Transport for London (TfL) is warning against travelling tomorrow as around 10,000 Tube workers are set to walk out, with 'severe disruption' expected.

Transport bosses have cautioned passengers that there will be very few services running and other routes will be busier than normal. 

Ahead of the strike action we've saved you a job and rounded up all the key information you need.

From when are they taking place to what lines are affected, here's everything you need to know. 

What day is the London Tube Strikes taking place?

The London Tube Strikes will be taking place on Tuesday, June 21, starting at midnight and finishing at 23.59 on the same day. 

Unlike the national rail strikes, the tube strikes will only be taking place for one day, compared to the three for other train services. 

Which Tube lines are impacted by the strikes?

TfL has said that most services will be severely disrupted or not running. 

This includes Circle Line, Jubilee Line, District Line, Hammersmith and City Line, Metropolitan Line, Northern Line, Central Line, Victoria Line, Bakerloo Line, Piccadilly Line, and the Waterloo & City Line.

Although not involved in the strikes the following services are expected to be disrupted due to the strikes: 

  • London Overground
  • The Elizabeth line
  • London Trams

Will DLR and Overground services be impacted by the rail strikes?

Although the DLR is not part of the strikes, they will be affected and running a reduced service. 

The London Overground will run between 7.30 am to 6pm on each strike day. 

Plus Thameslink will also be open on a reduced timetable. 

What airport trains will be running during the Tube Strikes? 

The Heathrow Express will be running on a reduced timetable. 

Whilst the Gatwick Express will not be running during the rail strikes. 

Will services be disrupted on Wednesday?

TfL is warning that there will be a knock-on effect on Wednesday, the day following the strikes, 

With no tube service running before 8am and commuters were warned to avoid making tube journeys until mid-morning.
