In just over a week, the nation will be celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, with events taking place up and down the country to mark the historic occasion. 

With many of the key and biggest events taking place across the Capital, from Trooping the Colour, the Platinum Party at the Palace and much more. 

But there are some more local events that you can still get tickets to or are free to attend.

Platinum Jubilee Events across London: 

Trooping the Colour:

Date: June 2

This will be the first time the event has been held in full since the pandemic, with more than 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians taking part. 

Although tickets are now sold out, you can watch it live on TV. 

Service of Thanksgiving: 

Date: June 3

A Service of Thanksgiving for The Queen's reign will take place at St Paul's Cathedral. 

However, it is a private event but the public and well-wishers are likely to gather around the Cathedral to see the Royal Family.

Platinum Party at the Palace

Date: June 4

Buckingham Palace is hosting an exciting concert with some iconic performers set to take to the stage, including Diana Ross and Eurovision's Sam Ryder.

Although tickets are now sold out, the BBC will be streaming the concert live on BBC One.

Platinum Picnic at Greenwich: 

Date: June 3

Take your own packed picnic to Charlton Park in Greenwich from 12pm until 4pm to enjoy Jubilee-themed activities. 

The event is free and you don't need a ticket, so all you need to do is come along. 

Mayfair Jubilee Party: 

Date: June 2-3

Mayfair is set to be transformed into a free summer fête with world-class entertainment and a communal feast running down North Audley Street.

With a 200ft banqueting table, there will be plenty of food and drinks and it promises to be a party to remember. 

Battersea Power Station Platinum Jubilee celebrations: 

Date: June 2-3

The station will be hosting a special Britannia-inspired party with a mix of live music, dance performances, food and much more all taking place. 

The event is perfect for the whole family with plenty to do and free entry.

Southbank Centre

Date: June 1-3

The Southbank Centre has a huge array of events taking place over the weekend. 

Including Punk Alley, subtle for the whole family you can watch the Lazurr Tuts as they invite all to participate in creating songs, writing placards and playing music. 

Or there is the Nu Civilisation Orchestra: The Queen’s Suite which will see the acclaimed Orchestra perform a section of Duke Ellington's jazz compositions.

Superbloom at The Tower of London:

Visit the landmark and see millions and millions of gorgeous flowers that surrounded the moat. 

It runs from June 1 until September 18 with more than 20 million seeds planted throughout the summer.
