Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing 74-year-old woman with dementia from Surrey.

UPDATE: SHE HAS NOW BEEN FOUND

Christine Hydes has been missing since 9am on Wednesday when she left her home in Byfleet.

Police have established that Christine was at Byfleet & New Haw train station on Wednesday morning.

She boarded a 10.10am train towards London and got off at Clapham Junction.

Christine is believed to be wearing a grey and white striped shirt and grey trousers.

She is described as white, with grey hair and a short, stocky build.

She is around 5’4” tall and has links to Farnham, Petersfield and Nottingham.

Christine has dementia and can struggle with understanding where she is.

Police are "increasingly concerned" for her welfare and want to find her as soon as possible.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: "We’re releasing new images of missing 74-year-old woman Christine Hydes as we continue searching for her.

"Christine has been missing since 9am yesterday (Wednesday, 11 May) when she left her home address in Byfleet.

"She is believed to be wearing a grey and white striped shirt and grey trousers, as seen in the image on the left.

"Christine is described as White, with grey hair and a short, stocky build.

"She is around 5’4” tall.

"She has dementia and can struggle with understanding where she is.

"Christine has links to Farnham, Petersfield and Nottingham.

"Through our enquiries, we’ve established that Christine was at Byfleet & New Haw train station yesterday morning (11 May).

"She boarded a 10.10am train towards London and got off at Clapham Junction.

"If you were on this train and saw Christine, please get in touch immediately.

"We’re growing increasingly concerned for Christine’s welfare and would like to locate her as soon as possible.
