A Surrey man has allegedly been punched and kicked to the floor after reports of an assault inside a pub in Chertsey.

Police were called to The Victory Pub in Station Road on Wednesday, April 6 at 6.30pm.

According to Police, a suspect punched and kicked a man to the floor, before pushing him through a fence outside of the pub.

Police say that a second victim has been punched whilst inside the pub, however he is yet to be identified.

The suspect was last seen leaving the pub and walking towards the train station at 6.40pm.

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses after an assault at a pub in Chertsey on Wednesday, 6 April.

“Officers were made aware of an assault which took place inside The Victory Pub on Station Road at around 6:30pm.

“Following an altercation, the suspect has punched and kicked a victim, knocking him to the floor.

“The suspect then pushed this same victim through a fence outside the premises.

“It’s also believed that a second victim has been punched whilst inside the pub, however he is yet to be identified.

“The suspect has then been seen to leave the pub and walk towards the train station at around 6:40pm.
