Police are appealing for information in the search to trace a woman who went missing in the Earlswood area yesterday (November 16).

In an appeal that urged anyone with information to contact them, Surrey Police said that Adu was last seen visiting the Shell Petrol Station on the A23 in Earlswood.

Adu, who police said is in her forties, then proceeded to walk "towards the Horley area". She has not been seen since.

"We are appealing for the public’s help in finding missing woman Adu who hasn’t been seen since this afternoon (16 November)," a Surrey Police spokesperson said. "She is described as a black woman wearing a white and pink top and dark bottoms as shown in this CCTV. She has connections to Leamington Spa and there is a possibility she has travelled by train," they added.
