Two teenagers shoved and tripped an elderly woman to the ground in a nasty assault in Epsom.

The two boys shoved and tripped her until she fell onto her face during the assault in Horton Crescent on October 16.

The victim was walking from Horton Crescent towards Long Grove Park between 2pm and 2.30pm when the two suspects approaced from the skate park direction.

The suspects are described as white boys aged between 11-18 years old, with short dark hair.

They were both wearing the same blue blazer which may have been a school uniform.

They fled the scene after the assault.

Surrey Police are asking anyone with information to get in touch quoting PR/45210109366.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: "We are still appealing for witnesses after an assault took place on Horton Crescent, Epsom, on Saturday, 16 October, between the times of 2pm and 2.30pm.  

"The victim was walking from Horton Crescent towards Long Grove Park when the two suspects approached her from the direction coming from the skate park. 

"The two boys who looked to be teenagers, then shoved and tripped the elderly woman, resulting in her falling on her face onto the ground. 

"The suspects are described as White boys aged between 11-18 years old, with short dark hair and both wearing the same blue blazer which may have been a school uniform. 

"Following the assault, the suspects fled the scene.
