Paramedics were called to a residential address in Kingston this morning (Wednesday, October 6) amid a report that a person had suffered a serious electric shock at home.
An image posted on social media showed the Air Ambulance helicopter landed on Fairfield Park in central Kingston, close to where the incident took place.
Responding to a request from the Surrey Comet, a spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed that they were called to a residential address on Mill Place and took someone to hospital:
"We were called at 10.46am today (6 October) to reports of an incident at a residential address on Mill Place, Kingston.
"We sent an ambulance crew, a medic in a car, and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.
"A person was treated at the scene and taken to a major trauma centre as a priority."
A Met Police spokesperson declined to comment on the case directly, but said it appeared that the person hurt in the incident "suffered an electric shock".
