A 13-year-old boy was taken to hospital on Tuesday afternoon after a car crashed into a pedestrian in Surbiton.
Police and the London Ambulance Service were called to the crash on Kingston Road at around 3.40pm.
The 13-year-old was taken to a south London hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road was closed while emergency services were at the scene.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at 15:39hrs on Tuesday, 14 September to reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian on Kingston Road in Surbiton.
"Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.
"A 13-year-old boy was taken to a south London hospital for treatment; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
"The road was closed whilst emergency services were at the scene."
