Police are appealing for witnesses after a man exposed himself to a woman in Epsom.

The incident occured on August 31 at around 4.30pm in Station Approach.

The male suspect exposed himself to the woman as she walked past.

He is described as a white man in his mid-to-late 30s, of medium build and with short, dark hair.

He is estimated to be around 5ft 11 and was wearing a grey sports top and black running shorts.

Surrey Police is asking anyone in the area with CCTV or dashcam footage to check for anyone matching this description or behaving strangely.

Call 101 quoting PR/45210092163 with any information.

Officers also gave advice on what to do if a similar thing happens:

• Trust your instincts and if you think a situation is getting worse, look for a way to escape

• Put distance between yourself and the other person if you are able to

• Call 999 as soon as you can

"The suspect is described as a White man in his mid to late 30s, of medium build and with short dark hair.

"He is also estimated to be around 5ft 11 and was wearing a grey sports top and black running shorts.
