The couple behind an incredible motor home conversion based around an authentic yellow school bus from the US are holding a raffle to find it a new owner.

Glen and Lucy from Surrey say they have spent a year fixing up the US school bus after it was shipped to the UK from New York in 2019.

Since then they have added a wealth of features to make it a liveable and movable home, including beds, kitchen and dining room, heaters and even a projector screen.

"We spent a year converting it into a fully functioning luxury tiny home," the couple wrote in an online post announcing the raffle.

"Everything in the bus is brand new and never been used!

"The bus (International CE300) had a full service once it arrived in the UK and has only covered less than 100 miles since," they added.

Tickets for the raffle clock in at £20 apiece, putting the potential earnings from the raffle for the pair at some £80,000 notwithstanding their costs.

Entrants will not only win the school bus motor home, but also storage at a secure facility in Surrey and £1,000 towards getting a Category C licence necessary for driving this type of vehicle in the UK.

There are 4,000 tickets available for the raffle, and the provisional closing date for entry is Thursday, September 30.
