Two men have been charged with the murder of a 22-year-old who was found stabbed in Croydon, as well as wounding a 16-year-old boy.
The Metropolitan Police said Tyreece Riggon, 20, and Julian Russell, 22, have both been charged with the murder of Lavaun Witter in south London.
Riggon, of South Norwood, south east London, and Russel, of Thornton Heath, have also been charged with the wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm of a 16 year-old male and possession of a bladed article.
Met Police and the London Ambulance Service were called to a property in Wisbeach Road, Croydon, just after 8pm on February 5.
Officers attended, along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, and found Lavaun suffering a stab injury. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:09pm.
A 16-year-old male was stabbed during the same incident and was taken to hospital where his injuries were found to be non-life threatening.
Riggon, 20, of Armistice Gardens, SE25, and Russell, 22, of Sanfield Road, CR7 are to appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Saturday, February 20.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the events of the evening of Friday, 5 February. They believe further suspects may still be outstanding and continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone who has information that could help their investigation to come forward.
